Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this Request for Proposal is to establish a competitivecontract for procuring HVAC water treatment service and supplies for PlanoIndependent School District (Plano ISD). It is the responsibility of the awardedContractor(s) to maintain a comprehensive, reliable water treatment program forHVAC equipment described in this specification. The Contractor(s) shall furnish allchemicals to control corrosion, scale and organic growth within hot water and steamboilers, closed chilled water loops and open condenser water loops. This agreementis inclusive of chemicals, test equipment, monthly inspections, and technical supportto maintain the HVAC machinery and the associated peripheral equipment in goodoperating condition. Under the terms of this agreement the Contractor(s) isresponsible for all laboratory/technical consultation support to ensure life cycle costeffectiveness.
