Specifications include, but are not limited to: •If an individual is experiencing a mental health crisis, a mental health evaluation is necessary to determine if the individual is a danger to themselves or others. To determine this, a Mental Health Professional must complete an evaluation and work with the County Attorney to decide the appropriate course of action.•The offeror shall be available, on-call24/7, to respond in person to the Missoula County Detention Facility (MCDF) to conduct a mental health evaluation for an individual in crisis.As part of the evaluation, Offeror must coordinate with jail staff,the County Attorney, and the Public Defender.•The offeror will meet with inmates in a jail environment, whichpresents some inherent risk. The environment may be loud, disruptive, and contact though a barrier may be necessary, at times.•The offeror will be required to respond, in-person, to the detention facility within 8 hours of call-out.•The offeror must be called to complete suicide clearances, in the absence of jail therapists. This will likely be rare and intermittent, serving as a gap coverage to other facility staff and used only to prevent lengthy delays in removing an inmate from suicide precautions.•An offeror may consist of an entity comprised of multiple mental health professionals on the condition that all mental health professionals who will provide the service have the requisite certifications, experience, and insurance coverage.•Offeror must comply with MCDF rules and regulations while working at the jail site and may be required tocomplete a background check.•Offeror shall provide quarterly reports and invoices detailing the number of evaluations conducted, disposition of the individual, and total number of hours worked.•Offeror shall work in good faith with Missoula County to address issues or concerns regarding the quality of services provided under this contract.•Offeror must be able to begin evaluations at the Missoula County Detention Facilityon July 1, 2021.
