Specifications include, but are not limited to: Firms to assist in creating a diverse and qualified pool of prospects for the position of dean of the Paul College of Business and Economics. Become knowledgeable about the issues, challenges, and opportunities faced by the university and the college. Work with a university-appointed search committee. Assist in the development of the criteria to recruit a successful chief financial officer candidate. Meet with appropriate administrators, faculty, and/or search committee, to define goals and expectations in the recruitment process. Develop a position description and challenge statement. Identify qualified candidates whose background and potential complement UNH’s goals and expectations. Identify diverse candidate pools. Contact prospective candidates; conduct initial screening and background checks. Provide a thorough assessment of candidates to the search committee. Note: the search committee will see all credentials and references for viable candidates. Assist with the interview and meeting logistics. Conduct reference checks on semi-finalists and finalists, which will be shared with the search committee. Complete required data collections and certification for the UNH Affirmative Action obligations (consistent with Federal Executive Order 11246) and all information required by UNH policies.
