Specifications include, but are not limited to: a. 1 (One) 3 ton heat pump split system unit, 1 (One) four 4 ton heat pump split system unit and 2 (Two) five 5 ton heat pump split systems as indicated in attached specification section 23 81 26 DX Split system air conditioning (all equipment needed) b. Existing platforms for new air handlers will be replaced with a one hour rated enclosure with all penetrations fire caulked with a UL rated assembly. All units will receive all New Raise Platforms/ Plenums (24” high A.F.F) and will match to existing and new air conditioning unit served. - Units must be verified in the field and pre-manufactured off-site prior to work performance. - New sheet metal to be neutralized, primed and painted with two coats of paint to match new A/C unit color scheme. - Base of unit will include short leveling legs to ensure unit is level but ensure unit condensate lines drain properly - The contractor is responsible for the constructability to ensure the enclosure will support the unit, duct work, location, provide maintained accessibility, and comply with manufacturer’s installation requirements (ie. warranty). - Top of unit will include a new 1” fire rated plywood board resting fully on a 1” angle iron welded to the plenum to allow the plywood to rest and be anchored to. Provide an opening to align with the filter section/ based of AHU. Insure filter easily pulls for maintenance change-out. A short sheet metal section may be required to comply.
