Specifications include, but are not limited to: The University of Rhode Island would like the planning team, to be hired through this RFP, to fully investigate relocating the Sailing Team from the current sailing center in Wakefield to the Narraganset Bay Campus. URI’s Narraganset Bay Campus is located at 215 S. Ferry Road, Narragansett, RI 02882. The sailing center’s physical building, the sea state conditions and the transition from land to water will all play a major factor in the planning process. Parking and site work shall be included in this planning study. Professionals on this planning team must be qualified and have proven experience to complete shoreline projects in sensitive environmental areas. It is critical that the concept designs provided be ones in which the University can implement remaining within all regulatory and financial constraints. Students will frequently be commuting to and from the Kingston campus.
