Specifications include, but are not limited to: Replacing the existing Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems serving the Delaware Emergency Management Agency (DEMA) and the Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) Traffic Management Center (TMC). The project will require cross-connected power cabling and controls for UPS redundancy. The work will occur at the Delaware Emergency Operations Center (DEOC) in Smyrna, Delaware. The existing Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems DEMA and TMC are at or near the expected life cycle. The existing UPS systems will be replaced with two (2) 100 kVA, 480 Volt (Output), 3-Phase, 4-Wire UPS units. The two (2) new UPS systems will be cross-connected through two (2) new Static Switches servicing the existing loads. New conductors will be routed through the building to connect the DEMA and TMC UPS systems. The cross-connect will allow DEMA and TMC to have near ā2Nā redundancy by utilizing UPS assets.
