Specifications include, but are not limited to: A Contract for annual full-service repairs and preventive maintenance of the Burt Process Equipment Acid Waste Neutralization System (AWNS) beginning on September 1, 2021. Services shall include weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual preventive maintenance (PM), including PM parts and labor. PMs will be scheduled by DSHS upon award and are based on the directive of DSHS. The Contractor is expected to identify damage and recommend repairs for the concrete Lift Station vault; 1,500-gallon Lift Station Holding tank; underground utilities; exposed external pipes; eye safety showers; electrical conduit; metal containers that house the treatment equipment; and treatment system HVAC system. Repair labor costs will be based on the contracted hourly rates submitted on Exhibit C Pricing Sheet. DSHS shall pay for the cost of any approved parts or supplies needed.
