Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1.Deliver broker services that meet or exceed industry standards or best practices.2.Gather competitive carrier quotes subject to annual review.3.Provide readily available nation-wide claims management service and resources with collaboration and direct management. 4.Collaborate with the University to oversee loss control services and resources.5.Provide a dedicated primary and secondary point of contact for the UMS.6.Ensures that workers compensation insurance carriers provide various state and federal endorsements to include USL&H, stop-gap Employers Liability and other states, Part A coverage. 7.Broker will be responsible for ensuring that Insurance Carriersare filed to do business in the State of Maine and rated A, Excellent or better, Financial size IX or better as defined by AM Best.
