Specifications include, but are not limited to: The University of Arkansas System is requesting external audits of the National Public Radio stations for the year ending June 30, 2021 for the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, KUAF-FM, and the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, KLRE-FM/KUAR-FM in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and Government Accounting Standards. All audits must be conducted in accordance with auditing standards generally accepted in the United States of America and Section 396 of the U. S. Communications Act. All audit reports must be in the format acceptable to the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. The audit reports to be provided include an audit opinion on the financial statements and a management letter on improvement in controls and procedures for fiscal year ending June 30, 2021. Access to work papers shall be provided to the University if requested by State or Federal regulatory agencies. The audit must be completed, and the report issued by December 31, 2021.
