Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. All standing cedars dead and live within the units shall be mulched/shredded. a. Contractor will not be expected to mulch/shred any cut or fallen dead cedars. 2. Some cedars will be identified with blue paint and are identified as “Keep Trees”. These trees will be minimal therefore the contractor bids should reflect a clear cut of cedars. 3. Mulching, grinding, or shredding of standing cedars may be facilitated with equipment that utilizes flail chains, carbine teeth or bits to mechanically grind and spread. Ground material may not exceed 6” thick on the soil surface. 4. All live hardwood trees must be undisturbed. (Oak, ash, hackberry, etc.) 5. All stumps will be cut at ground level. 6. If soils are disturbed due to high soil moisture, work will be stopped. Work will resume at the discretion of the park superintendent.
