Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Idaho Youth Challenge Academy (IDYCA), which is part of IMD, seeks to procure a solution to manage their student records. The solution will ideally be hosted on the IDYCA- IT infrastructure in Pierce Idaho. The local hosting requirement is desired since internet connectivity can be a challenge in the remote Idaho community of Pierce. The solution will automate the management of tracking student progress for the eight (8) core components of the National Guard Youth Challenge Academy program. The solution will also emulate document management processes for other data as well. The solution will provide capacity for about one hundred forty (140) students per two (2) times a year, with data typically retained for seven (7) years. Typical data housed in the solution will consist of cadet information, legal adjudication records, medical records, cadet legal records, risk assessments, cadet interviews, community service hours, staff training records, cadet training records, cadet participation, communication logs, emergency contacts and other data necessary for tracking student progress. The solution will provide a reporting interface to support predefined reports as well as an ad-hoc reporting capability. The reporting interface will incorporate automation features such as report scheduling and conditional alerts. The solution will provide a file upload capability that allows for upload of typical document and image files. Other interfaces would include data entry, cadet information dashboard, application web interface to support new cadet application process, workflow processing of cadet applications between staff members, a cadet interface, a smtp interface for sending email and an administrative interface for managing security
