Specifications include, but are not limited to: Delivery of a series of post-secondary education courses for youth and adults with disabilities to include the following: A. The Contractor must deliver a non-credit course designed to prepare participating students – youth and adults – for success enrolling in college as well as researching and preparing for careers. The course is to be offered up to 4 times for youth (those still enrolled in high school) and 4 times for adults (18 or older and out of high school) over the course of 2 years. B. The Contractor must deliver three additional courses for youth and adult participants that enable earning at least 3 college credits. Provide up to 4 course sessions per year of each of the following 3 courses, the content of which will focus on: 1. Providing high quality customer service. 2. Exploring career opportunities including a paid or unpaid practicum with a community employer as part of the course. 3. Working successfully at a professional work site. C. The Contractor must provide up to 25 three credit college course dual enrollment vouchers over 2 years which will enable DVR high school youth to access a variety of course offerings related to pursuit of their individual career goals.
