Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Department of Administrative and Financial Services (Department) is seeking proposals for the maintenance and repair of elevators, vertical lifts, chair lifts, and dumbwaiters as defined in this Request for Proposal (RFP) document. This document provides instructions for submitting proposals, the procedure and criteria by which the awarded Bidder will be selected and the contractual terms which will govern the relationship between the State of Maine (State) and the awarded Bidder. Proposals shall include all inspections, adjustments, tests, and parts replacement, regardless of the age of units, to ensure continuous use at their established capacity and efficiency for their intended purpose. The successful bidder shall also be responsible for any spillage of hydraulic fluids related to the operation of units including cleanup and disposal of the liquid solution.
