Specifications include, but are not limited to: JECTIVE 3: Within the time schedule included herein, obtain and review pertinent city claims history and demographics; evaluate needs, identify exposures, trends, opportunities and threats, assist in education of HBRT members, perform research, facilitate meetings of the committee, identify and develop alternative plans, recommend, and otherwise provide the necessary professional services consistent with the accomplishment of the HBRT Charter objectives, and OBJECTIVE 4: Attend meetings of the city unions, city employee groups, management staff meetings and City Council to explain and obtain plan approval, facilitate health and other benefit contract negotiations with potential and successful respondents, and OBJECTIVE 5: Monitor implementation of the final plan and provide feedback to the City in the form of a final report to the City.OBJECTIVE 6: Provide information as it relates to Affordable Care Act Compliance in the context of a large public employer, to include managing the Cadillac Tax as applicable, assisting with Employer Reporting, wellness implications, etc.OBJECTIVE 7: (Optional): As needed over the life of the agreement, prepare RFP for improved plan, solicit responses, evaluate and recommend respondents and responses, facilitate proposal interviews of top three, make recommendations as to the appropriate plans, costs and selection to make.
