Specifications include, but are not limited to:Assist Rangeley Region Economic Development Opportunity Committee (RREOC), with economic development priorities, provide training and technical assistance to RREOC and Town Officials. 2. Update Rangeley Economic Development Action Plan with benchmarks to show projects, verify compliance with the Plan and the Town’s Comprehensive and Downtown Revitalization Action Plans. 3. Make recommendations to the Town regarding community development efforts and strategies and participate in these efforts as requested. 4. Implement and provide technical assistance with the Rangeley Downtown Tax Increment Financing District Development Program and any other TIF related business in conjunction with others as appropriate. 5. Assist Town with marketing properties; work with local businesses/property owners to invest in their businesses/properties; connect them to resources needed to retain/expand businesses and create jobs. 6. Develop an Economic Resource Guide describing funding, financing, and program opportunities for Town community infrastructure projects, for private investment, and for businesses. 7. Seek funding opportunities, provide grant training and technical assistance.
