Specifications include, but are not limited to: The awarded offeror will be required to provide the following deliverables; A complete climbing wall flooring solution. A. The flooring must meet the following minimum specifications: 1) Padding must have as few segments as possible to reduce injuries from wear at joints 2) Any seams must be reinforced to reduce injuries from wear at the joints 3) Must provide a high contact fall surface to accommodate the following fall types: i. Bouldering height up to 16 feet ii. Climbing height (roped in) up to 25 feet 4) Must provide a minimum of a 1-year warranty period (product and installation) B. The following are preferred specifications: 1) Chalk absorption for improved air and surface quality 2) Easy to clean (either chalk or sweat/bacteria) 3) Ability to taper the pads/flooring near the wall to allow for bottom holds to be used 4) Variety of color options available to choose from C. Offerors are encouraged, but not required to provide value added options beyond the minimum specifications. Images of existing flooring are provided in Attachment D.
