Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1.Task Category 1 - Data Collection.Appropriate vendors will have the capacity to conduct an array of qualitative and quantitative data collection activities including but not limited to the following:a.Focus groups (a variety of services may be provided by the Vendor related to the provision of focus groups, including recruitment; development of screening tools, moderator’s guides, and exit tools; facilitation; logistics; report writing, and results analysis). b.Key informant interviews. c.Formative research1; d.Survey administration, potentially at multiple intervals, baseline, 3-month, 6-month and 12-month follow-up; ande.Needs assessments. 2.Task Category 2 - Design and Conduct Program or System Evaluation.Appropriate vendors will have the capacity to conduct an array of evaluation activities in support of program evaluation or system evaluation including but not limited to the following:a.Create and/or modify an evaluation planb.Identify or design valid and reliable measures to assess fidelity to evidence-based, promising, and other practices employedc.Identify or design valid and reliable process measures such as the examination of organizational capacity, program management, collaboration efforts and other program components or performance measuresd.Identify, adapt, or design instruments incorporating appropriate psychometric properties and appropriate validity and reliability e.Identify or design valid and reliable outcome measures using local, state, and national survey data.23.Task Category 3 - Development of Evaluation Related Communications Processes and Tools to assist with the performance assessment of the projecta.Facilitate and/or develop approaches to communicate the results and findingsb.Conduct meetings with key staff and stakeholders and make recommendations to address project barriers and unsatisfactory outcomesc.Create presentation findings in illustrative reports that may include charts, graphs or maps and recommendations or next steps, as appropriate to the scope of work. 4.Task Category 4 - Technical Consultation or Other ResearchBHDDH may seek to explore other research options to address emerging needs in particular communities or regions of the state or nationally. Appropriate vendors will have the capacityto conduct an array of research activities including but not limited to the following:a.Meta-analysis of existing research, data, and written materialsb.Literature reviews and annotated bibliographies for specific topics or populations identifiedc.Consultation on advanced modeling techniques such as the creation of methodologies for creation of synthetic estimates of service need for a specific population group d.Consultation on advanced statistical analysise.Development or adaptation of evidence-based clinical screening and assessment tools5.Administration In addition to the tasks listed above, the Vendor is responsible for the following:a.Providing office space, office equipment, and office support including telephone, fax, and computer word-processing and graphic design programs.b.Supporting all travel necessary to conduct work defined in the Scope of Work. c.Supervising and reimbursing all subcontractors; and d.Attendance at meetings as required to complete the scope of work.
