Specifications include, but are not limited to: Coverage of the Software The City provides a full range of services for its citizens, including but not limited to: • Emergency Transportation / Paramedic • Fire Fighting / Rescue • General Administration • Library • Legal Request such as APRA • Police • Street Maintenance, Improvements and Lighting • Water Utility • Refuse Collection and Sanitation • Property Inspection and Code Enforcement • Licenses and Registrations • Parks and Recreation The App to be procured will first be used for services and work orders by Department of Public Works (DPW), mostly for street /facility/traffic maintenance. However, the app must have the capacity to expand to full functionality covering services and work orders by other departments in the future. Phases of Implementation The ideal vendor shall have experience in successfully implementing the proposed solution at cities or similar public agencies with similar requirements. The successful bidder shall be responsible for carrying out the work in the following phases in a timely manner, ideally in sixty (60) days. • Specification Verification • Policy / Procedure Development • System Configuration • Integration with Other systems – Development and Testing • Conversion – Development and Testing • Reports – Development and Testing • Training – Development and Delivery • Integrated System Testing • Cutover Preparation • Post-Implementation support Ideally, the App should provide integrated service request functionality listed below. • Ability to allow citizens to submit a request. It is desired to allow citizens to view their submissions, see other submissions, and receive status updates via email/text. • Ability to create unique templates for various service request types with dropdown menus to identify questions for assistance with obtaining helpful information from the customer and help with assigning a priority to the reported issue. • Ability to allow the user to record customer complaint information, and forward all service requests to specific department supervisor.
