Specifications include, but are not limited to: a. Development, implementation, evaluation and training of management plans designed to minimize human health and safety exposures to potential mechanical, physical, chemical, biological, environmental or health hazards associated with the operation and maintenance of facilities owned or operated by BRA;b. Management and control of chemical products according to applicable environmental, health and safety regulatory requirements;c. Management and control of waste materials according to applicable regulatory requirements. Waste materials or contaminant characteristics may include: “known” and “unknown” chemical composition, and compound matrix that may contain unidentified physical, chemical, health or environmental hazards;d. Notification, mitigation, remediation, and documentation of environmental impacts, work related accidents or spill events, including natural or man-made disasters, according applicable regulatory requirements and/or site specific directives defined by regulatory authorities.e. The contractor shall respond to an emergency request within 15 minutes of notification, 24hrs/day, on every day of the year. The contractor will provide and complete any emergencyservices requested under this contract within 48 hours from the time the BRA representative notifies the contractor. f. The contractor key positions shall perform all primary work under this contract. No subcontracted services are allowed for key positions. No more than one subcontracted service, per project, is allowed for support or specialty services, unless preapproved by BRA. g. Contractor shall be responsible to initiate, maintain, control and supervise health and safety precautions or activities related to work under this contract. The contractor shall take all necessary control measures to prevent damage, injury or loss.h. Contractor shall be solely responsible to ensure any subcontracted service provider retains the necessary education, license, certification and experience necessary to complete the subcontracted services in compliance with applicable regulatory standards, regulatory site directives and best management practices.i. Contractor shall be solely responsible for their own Comprehensive Health and Safety Plan. The plan shall comply with all applicable local, state and federal regulatory requirements. j. Contractor shall be responsible to ensure all subcontracted services have appropriate training records and certifications for their respective staff
