Specifications include, but are not limited to: Task 1: Investigation • Investigate the current condition of the North wing and the appropriate method of repointing that meets Historic Preservation Standards. • Make at least one site visit to investigate the area and make a report on findings. • Consult with the Rhode Island Historic Preservation and Heritage Commission (RIHPHC) to ensure that the recommended improvements are historically appropriate. Revise recommendations as necessary per RIHPHC feedback. Task 2: Prepare bid documents • Prepare bid documents. • Develop estimate of probable implementation costs. • Deliverables: Two hard copies of bid documents plus a copy on a flash drive. Task 3: Pre-Bid Meeting / Questions & Answers • Attend Pre-Bid meeting with the contractors and answer questions from contractors. • If answers to the questions are unknown, research the answers and provide the information to the City’s Purchasing Department for dissemination to all bidders.
