The CCS program is a vital part of workforce services that assists eligible familiestowork or increase their educational abilities.The CCS program subsidizes child care for low-income families, promoting long-term self-sufficiency by enabling parents to work and/or attend workforce training or education activities.The Child Care Quality (CCQ) program established by theTexas Workforce Commission (TWC) through the implementation of the Texas Rising Star (TRS)programis a quality rating and improvement system for Texas Early Childhood programs. This program includes: TRS Mentoring, TRS Assessors and Quality Improvement Activities (QIA).
