Specifications include, but are not limited to:. Services to be performed: Contractor will remove all Eastern Red Cedar and Russian Olive trees at ground level with a base diameter smaller than 14” that are accessible in the “Tree Removal Area” (Appendix A) in the following order; Widening the access trail to 200’ where possible, Clearing Trees on the West side of Trail, Clearing Trees on the east side of the trail. Tree removal needs to be done with either a tree sheer, tree grinder, or a combination of both, powered by a skid steer or other type of agricultural/construction machinery that can be operated on rough terrain (e.g. Tractor, payloader, excavator). When removing trees with a tree sheer, trees must be stacked, stacks must be placed on ridge tops with no living trees within 40 yards.
