Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. This candidate screening tool or process must align with our definition of high quality instructional talent and effectively reduce the amount of time school leaders need to spend reviewing initial applications for current vacancies and improve the quality of the talent interviewed and ultimately hired into instructional roles. This screening solution should also contribute to a positive candidate experience. The tool must help distinguish high quality from low-quality talent, assess the learning agility of the candidate, and enable candidate data to be integrated into current and future Human Resource systems and processes. 2. The assessment tool must be integrated into the NISD hiring process and must effectively and efficiently evaluate between 2,500 and 3,500 candidates applying for teaching positions annually. Triggering the candidate’s assessment through your tool must become a step in the overall interview process. NISD uses the MunisPlatform for job applications and the candidate must be able to easily transition from the application process to the evaluation process if it determined that NISD wants to test the candidate. 3. The application software must be browser-based, compatible with any contemporary web browser including Chrome, Safari, and Firefox. 4. The system should possess security features that allow the District to selectively limit and control access to the information in the system. 5. The vendors shall deliver and implement and pass an acceptance test for system functions, staff training, and support documentation. 6. System must be available for use at NISD by July 1, 2021. 7. All work and delivery of services shall be approved by the Human Resources and Technology Services Department. If the work and service levels are not acceptable, the vendor will be called in to review and correct all problem areas without additional cost to NISD. Any work necessary will be performed in accordance with a schedule jointly agreed upon. 8. Bidders shall demonstrate that they have adequate staff to perform the required work. Staff should include web and database developers, customer technical support staff, training staff, and staff with experience integrating their system into educational institution’s hiring procedures. 9. Evidence of usability by candidates should be provided including data regarding average time for completion, percent of users completing teacher screening and any qualitative feedback on usability conducted during research and testing. 10. NISD prefers that participating bidders have been in business for at least five years. The vendor shall demonstrate financial stability to the satisfaction of NISD.
