Specifications include, but are not limited to: To collect the data necessary to achieve the desired outcomes, the consultant shall provide and install the following sensors and equipment (at a minimum): • Strain Sensors Strain sensors shall be installed on girders 4 through 7 at the midspan of span 2 (These girders are located on the South side of the bridge). One (1) of the sensors shall be placed near the top flange of each girder, one (1) at the middle of the web of each girder, and two (2) at the bottom flange of each girder, one per side, for a total of 16 sensors. • Data loggers All sensors shall be wired to data loggers for continuous measurement. • Camera The consultant shall provide a camera feed with a time stamp so that the truck configuration can be correlated with the real time measured strain and deflection data. • Power A solar power unit will be required due to lack of power available at the bridge.
