Specifications include, but are not limited to: 2.1 Consultant shall demonstrate: 2.1.1 An extensive and proven track record in working with schools or higher educational institutions on equity and inclusion practices, reviews, audits, and implementation strategies; 2.1.2 An extensive experience in developing and implementing professional development specific to equity and inclusion mindsets and practices; 2.1.3 A demonstrated ability to facilitate work with both internal and external stakeholders. 2.2 The scope of work will focus on the following areas for the District: 2.2.1 Facilitate an equity and inclusion plan in collaboration with district and campus leadership; 2.2.2 Provide training and coaching services to district and campus leadership, in both a group setting and individually. Include a minimum of two coaching sessions with each campus; 2.2.3 Facilitate campus and department teamwork around equity and inclusion; 2.2.4 Advise the District regarding the purchase of district and campus level resources specific to equity and inclusion. 2.2.5 Consult with specialized departments such as Special Education and Gifted and Talented to ensure equitable practices regarding placement in services and instruction; 2.2.6 Partner with the District to audit practices, policies, procedures related to hiring, retention, communication, and curriculum to promote the District's cultural responsiveness to students, staff, and parents;
