Specifications include, but are not limited to: constructing a pilot plant for the extraction of Rare Earth Elements from lignite (low-rank coal). A crucial component of this pilot plant will be the equipment used to measure total suspended solids (TSS) in our process streams. It is imperative to the success of this project that the proper TSS’s are sourced at a reasonable price and can be delivered in a timely manner. We are seeking a total of 10 TSSs for our pilot plant. Table 1 indicates the requirements needed for each TSS. All sensors must meet the following requirements: - Material of construction compatible with <10% H2SO4 - TSS range must meet or exceed what is listed, however cannot be smaller than requested without UND approval - TSS configuration must have 4-20ma transmission capabilities (built-in or remote transmitter) o All sensor readings will be used within a LabVIEW PLC
