Specifications include, but are not limited to: All Knapweeds, Leafy Spurge, Toadflax, Houndstongue, Whitetop, Hensbane, Bull and Musk Thistle. There may be other weed species present and those should be treated as appropriate as directed by FWP personnel. Herbicide application will be done primarily by using ATV’s/UTV’s to minimize off road tracks and vegetation disturbance by larger, heavier truck mounted systems. Off road travel is acceptable but ground and vegetation disturbance should be minimized. Work will consist of searching for target weeds and spot spraying them when found. All chemicals will be applied in accordance with chemical labels and EPA guidelines. FWP will provide the contractor a key to get behind closed gates and the key will be returned to FWP after the spraying is completed annually.
