Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. ELECTRICAL WIRING DIAGRAMS Two (2) electrical wiring diagrams, prepared for the model of chassis and body, shall be provided. 2. TRACTOR CHASSIS The tractor chassis provided shall be a new, tilt-type custom fire apparatus. The chassis shall be manufactured in the apparatus body builder's facility eliminating any split responsibility. The tractor chassis shall be designed and manufactured for heavy-duty service, with adequate strength and capacity for the intended load to be sustained and the type of service required. 3. MAXIMUM OVERALL LENGTH The maximum overall length of the apparatus shall be 714 inches. 4. WHEELBASE The wheelbase of the vehicle shall be no greater than 163 inches. 5. GVW RATING The gross vehicle weight rating shall be a minimum of 69,300 pounds. 6. FRONT NON DRIVE AXLE The front axle shall be of the independent suspension design with a ground rating of 22,800 lb.The turning angle shall be 45 degrees.
