Specifications include, but are not limited to: Currently, lighting in office areas consists primarily of suspended linear indirect T8 fixtures with “Super” T8 (28-watt) lamps and high efficiency electronic ballasts. Basement areas have 3- lamp linear fluorescent 2’x4’ recessed troffers. Corridors have T8 cove lighting and compact fluorescent (CFL) pendants. There are a couple of office areas that have been retrofitted with 2’x2’ recessed LED fixtures, although most spaces still have the original fixtures from the 2007 renovation. Fixtures in most areas are controlled through ceiling or wall-mounted occupancy sensors. Exterior lighting consists of pole-mounted LED fixtures and is controlled through a photocell to operate dusk-to-dawn. This project will replace most of the existing lights and in some cases the fixtures as well, with more energy efficient LED replacements.
