Specifications include, but are not limited to: furnishing a No. 6 Welded Turnout Insulated including a complete switch timber set. The turnout shall be color coded with all timbers tagged and match marked to the rail with ½” wide marks both sides of the tie location and all rail joints to be match marked on the head of rail. The turnout shall be panelized and dismantled and shipped with remaining switch timber pre-plated and bundled in groups of four. 2.5.2.Materials: All Bidders must comply with the FHWA Buy America requirements in accordance with 23 CFR 635.410 and 23 USC 313. 2.5.2.1. Turnout materials shall be New 136 RE. Turnout must conform to the Portfolio of Trackwork Plans, AREMA Manual - current edition, for the turnout number furnished.
