Specifications include, but are not limited to: In designated areas, the existing gravel-protected built-up roof system and related insulation shall be removed in entirety. After inspection of existing deck and repair (if required), new insulation and membrane roof system shall be installed as indicated in the Contract Documents. All existing roof drains shall be replaced as indicated on Drawings. Existing curbs and supports shall be demolished, reflashed in place, or replaced as required to meet new insulation depth, as indicated on Drawings. Existing metal copings shall be replaced throughout to accommodate new membrane roof system installation. Work also includes repair / rebuilding of portions of the existing metal panel soffit system as indicated on Drawings.
