Identify and display research metrics (articles, honors/awards, research grants, conference proceedings, book publications, citation rates, etc.) by faculty member and in aggregate forms. Ensure validity of scholarly production attribution to correct individual. Provide in a customizable format tools to compare the research metrics by department and by program to those of peer departments and peer programs at institutions of higher education nationally. Provide tools to rank the overall research productivity of a department or program to that of peer departments or programs nationally (or internationally). Provide tools to analysis the career progression of faculty from completion of their terminal degree to the present. Provide tools to help UT Institutions identify high-performing and under-recognized scholars for the purpose of honorific awards. Provide tools to assist in evaluating proposed Ph.D. programs, in particular, aggregating the research productivity of faculty within a department or creating custom groupings of faculty from multiple departments or similar units. The Solution may have the following enhancing tools: Provide tools to track the placement of alumni of Ph.D. programs and master’s programs and display in aggregate and by individual the jobs that Ph.D. graduates obtain and master’s graduates obtain. Provide tools that compare the research and clinical activities of faculty within medical schools at UT System academic institutions with peers nationally. Include additional research faculty not classified as tenured/tenure-track faculty and/or not housed in traditional academic units.
