Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Understanding that time if of the essence, develop and deploy a robust outreach program, including deployment of staff for direct outreach, to quickly promote awareness of the PPP and other loan and grant programs, as well as resources and assistance available to assist Rhode Island small businesses impacted by the COVID-19 health pandemic successfully submit applications for PPP and other loan and grant programs; • As a primary focus, create and implement a plan, including staffing, timing and approach, for door-to-door outreach activities beginning in early April within commercial districts. • Secondarily, conduct outreach via digital platforms such as Facebook live events, webinars, radio spots and appearances, virtual community conversations, faith organization outreach, television appearances by partners, etc.; • Ensure specific language needs are met and culturally appropriate materials are prepared for distribution; • Create and implement a strategy for connecting potential small business applicants to technical assistance resources; and • Partners will be asked to report data, including actual business contacts made, on a weekly basis.
