Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Delaware Department of Agriculture (the Department) Plant Industries Section Spotted Lanternfly Survey and Control program is seeking a professional services contract to conduct work related to the mitigation of Spotted Lanternfly, Lycorma delicatula. Options for needs related to this work are broken down into two sections in the Technical Requirements. The Department reserves the right to award the whole, part, or none of this contract and may award different parts to different vendors. The spotted lanternf ly will becontrolled with strategic applications of insecticides and by reducing numbers of their preferred host Tree of Heaven, Ailanthus altissima, with herbicide applications. All work will be conducted on properties designated by the Department. The Department will require price options for the following scenariosI. A vendor conducting mitigation work according to the technical requirements on 1,000-4,000 insecticide trees. III. A vendor to conduct mitigation work according to the technical requirements on between 3,000-7,000 herbicide trees.
