Specifications include, but are not limited to: Idaho State Department of Agriculture (ISDA) is purchasing laboratory services to produce milk component standards and direct microscopic somatic cell counts (DMSCC) standards. 1. The Vendor must provide fresh milk component standards to ISDA every two weeks (or twice a month). The term “fresh” in this instance means that the Vendor must produce the samples in the week that they will be shipped. Samples must be produced on Monday and arrive at ISDA on Tuesday. If either the day of sample production by the Vendor (Monday) or the day the samples are received by ISDA (Tuesday), falls on a holiday recognized by the State of Idaho, an alternate production/delivery schedule will be agreed upon, with the understanding that the component samples must still be produced in the same week they are shipped to ISDA. ISDA will provide an annual schedule to the Vendor that details the specific dates when the fresh component standards are required. 2. The standards must arrive by Tuesday morning of each two-week period. At the beginning of the contract the first set of standards will be delivered within one (1) week After Receipt of Order (ARO). 3. The standards must include 10 identical sets consisting of 12 individual sample vials of milk. For example, 12 samples labeled #1 that are all the same, 12 samples labeled #2 that are the same, etc. (each sample is different). 4. The actual laboratory analysis of samples 1 through 12 for each component standard set must be emailed to ISDA by the Vendor the same week the standards are sent. 5. Invoicing must be either bi-monthly or monthly.
