Specifications include, but are not limited to: A description of the work of this project can be summarized to include the repair, cleaning, and restoration of the exterior masonry facades of the historic Administration Building. Specifically included in this project is work on the south courtyard façade (Work Package 2 – Alternate #4), east courtyard façade (Work Package 3 – Alternate #5), north courtyard façade (Work Package 4 – Alternate #6), northwest façade (Work Package 5), north facade (Work Package 6), east facade (Work Package 7), towers and turrets, and south facade (Work Package 8 – Alternate #3). Work on the southwest façade (Work Package 1) was completed under separate contract and is not included in scope of work. In addition to cleaning and restoration, work also includes the replacement of cast stone finials that are missing from the parapets of the facades, new ADA compliant handrails at the east entrance, and refinishing of select historic windows and doors.
