Specifications include, but are not limited to: DSAMH and its providers are responsible for developing and providing a person-centered, recovery-oriented system of care for the consumers we serve. Services provided are expected to be person-centered, trauma-informed and equipped to working with consumers with behavioral health concerns. These fundamental principles are inherent and expected in each scope of service. Services to consumers include Peer Support, screening, assessment, treatment planning, case management, and discharge planning. CISCIS sites are designed as a 23-hour stabilization service within our continuum of care. Contract monitoring and DSAMH’s quality assurance activities will focus on these core principles. It is DSAMH’s intention to design (when not present) and institute performance-based contracts operationalizing these and other principles.
