Specifications include, but are not limited to: The selected consultant is expected to perform technical, planning, design and other preconstruction activities generally outlined as preliminary and final engineering, and to assist the Town with preparing and submitting the required Wetlands Permit and Shorelands Permit with the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services. The Town intends to construct the improvements in 2022 and engineering and permitting would need to be completed by early 2022. The Town anticipates that the scope of the requested engineering services will be primarily for the improved public access from the top of the river bank down to the Ashuelot River. There may be some engineering that is required for the other improvements, including storm water runoff mitigation for existing and new impervious surfaces.
