Specifications include, but are not limited to: Through this Request for Proposal (RFP) the Department of Public Safety (hereinafter the “State”) is seeking to establish a purchasing agreement with a company that can provide services for Radar Equipment Repair and Calibration. The contractor will repair and calibrate Decatur and Laser Tech radars units, any other radar units, and RF Test Equipment the State may have. The State will mail the equipment to the contractor for repair and calibration. a. The equipment will be repaired and calibrated to meet FCC mandates and standards. b. The contractor’s facility must be registered and accredited with the International for Standardization (ISO) for both ISO 9000:2008 and ISO/IEC 17025 standards. c. The contractor shall provide the State with copies of its accreditation on an annual basis.
