NOTICE IS HEREBY given that the City of Bozeman (‘City’) is requesting proposals from qualified engineering and consulting firms to provide professional services to conduct a water loss control survey-audit and level one validation (‘Audit’) in order to develop a robust water loss control program for the City. This project will include an analysis of the water system examining all the facets of water use and water loss in the City. The information obtained from the Audit will be utilized to identify the amount of overall losses within the water distribution system, where those losses are occurring, make recommendations to control system water loss, and provide tools and resources for the City to utilize for performing an annual water loss audit in subsequent years. This will be accomplished by using the American Water Works Association (AWWA) Water Audit Software as well as following methods contained in the AWWA M36 manual on Water Audits and Loss Control Programs.
