Specifications include, but are not limited to: Policies and procedures provided in the Idaho Infant Toddler Program (ITP) Implementation eManual http://healthandwelfare.idaho.gov/Children/InfantToddlerProgram/InfantToddlerProgrameManual/tabid/2279/Default.aspx, and the code and regulations of the federal early intervention program for infants and toddler with disabilities (Individuals with Disabilities and Education Act [IDEA], Part C and 34 CFR 303) are adhered to. These specifically include but are not limited to the following: Providing early intervention services in the parents’ native language, in a culturally appropriate manner and providing early intervention services, to the maximum extent appropriate to the needs of the child, in natural environments. Informing families regarding the availability of early intervention services through ITP at low or no cost to the family. Provisions are met regarding IDEA, Part C, the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and provide written verification of the successful completion of a Privacy and Confidentiality course for all employees of the agency who are providing services to clients of the Department. All services are delivered by persons who meet provider qualifications per the Department and must provide evidence of licensure, certification, and any other applicable provider credentials. All direct service providers have current pediatric cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification and pediatric first aid certification. Direct service providers are knowledgeable of the provisions of the Contract. The Contractor must provide: Technological access through their own equipment to the Department’s web-based data system. All equipment, materials, supplies, auxiliary services (e.g. copying, mailing, phoning, and faxing), and staff necessary to complete all requirements of the Contract. The Contractor must: Work as a member of a multidisciplinary team (MDT) using Evidence-Based practices to provide early intervention services in natural environments. Report to the Department any critical incidents, or any incident that has reasonable potential to negatively affect Department operations, staff or clients
