Specifications include, but are not limited to: General Familiarize with the permitting needs, LEED research and grant applications, and other relevant materials. Meet with MVRTD managers on operational requirements and facility program. Gain an understanding of MVRTD’s needs to minimize long term operating costs, provide opportunities for expansion, project funding, and interests in utilizing environmentally friendly systems. Assure that the project stays on-time, on-budget and within the specifications. Assist with management of project contingency and overall project budget. Provide regular reporting of project to MVRTD’s Facility Committee. Retain and Oversee Architects and Engineers on MVRTD’s Behalf Write RFP for architectural and engineering services; conduct pre-proposal meeting; draft responses to questions from potential proposers; serve as the primary worker on the procurement process in collaboration with the MVRTD’s Facility Committee
