Specifications include, but are not limited to: CHP Mountain Pass Joint Port of Entry Parking Lot Sweeping; A. Contractor shall provide all labor, tools, material and equipment (including hoses, heavy duty mechanical broom street sweeper i.e., Elgin Eagle type or equivalent) necessary to provide sweeping service to the entire parking lot area and roadway lanes. B. Contractor to provide service on a monthly basis. Contractor will be required to call CHP on-site contact person or designee and make an appointment to perform the maintenance at least three (3) days in advance. Contractor will check in with CHP on-site contact person or designee upon arrival and check out when the services are completed. If there are any discrepancies on the invoice concerning services provided, the CHP will refer to the sign in sheet to confirm actual days at the facility. C. All service shall be performed by trained, competent workers. D. Contractor to ensure that all debris is removed from the premises including the refuse and debris that may accumulate around the building and in the parking lot and roadway lanes. E. Any work found unsatisfactory shall be redone within twenty-four (24) hours after notification from the CHP on-site contact person or designee at no additional charge to the CHP. After two (2) recalls for unsatisfactory work, the State reserves the right to terminate the contract. F. In the event of equipment failure, Contractor must respond with back-up personnel and power sweeper with two (2) working days at no additional charge to the CHP.
