Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Consultant will perform a survey of the existing conditions showing all existing contour lines at 2-foot intervals extending at least 25 feet beyond the R.O.W. or as needed for the work, observable landmarks (i.e. , edge of road, sidewalks, buildings, trees, driveways, house locations and sill elevations, manhole structures with inverts, etc.) and underground utility locations as needed to complete the design of this project. The Consultant will coordinate with the utility owners to have the underground utilities marked out prior to the survey. The Consultant shall locate all existing property markers and monuments abutting the roadways to accurately delineate the existing R.O.W. and easements in which any work will be performed as well as to have an accurate record should any be disturbed during construction. Any easements will need to be located. The survey will be tied into the City’s GIS coordinate system. The Consultant will furnish a digital base plan (dwg file) when the survey is complete.
