Specifications include, but are not limited to: removal and replacement of approximately 10,400 square feet of asphalt shingles and approximately 5400 square feet of EPDM roofing and structural reinforcement of selected framing as indicated. The following outline is provided to summarize the Work. The contractor shall include in his scope all incidental construction required to perform the entire scope of work indicated in the construction documents. 1. Structural a. Reinforce existing timber beams as indicated. b. Incidental ceiling removal, replacement, and soffit construction as required to install beam reinforcements. c. Incidental rerouting of ductwork as required to install specified beam reinforcements. 2. Roofing a. Remove and dispose of existing roofing and other items as indicated. b. Install new underlayment, asphalt shingle roofing, and flashings as indicated. c. Install new insulation and EPDM roofing and flashings at the low-slope roof.
