Specifications include, but are not limited to: Contractor to provide complete tower/chiller water treatment to prevent fouling on metal services, inhibit corrosion, sanitize, clean, disinfect and control biological and biofilm growth. Contractor shall provide all necessary supervision, personal protective equipment, labor, materials, equipment, and tools to perform the services. Vendor shall check chemical levels and fill as needed and inspect on a regular basis to ensure the integrity of the tower/chiller water system. Vendor must be able to provide emergency contact information and respond within 2 hours following an emergency call. Vendor to be onsite to address emergencies within 24 hours. Chemicals other than chemicals in the day tanks located in tower yard, shall not be stored on site. For all chemicals used on site, vendor will provide safety data sheets (SDS) to facilities management department. Contractor shall provide water testing for serogroups of Legionella to include Legionella pneumophila, Serogroup 1 and Serogroup unknown. Contractor to assist in water corrosion control. Contractor shall provide water testing supplies and qualified personnel to sample sites. Contractor to respond quickly and immediately alert infection prevention, hospital administrator and facilities management of testing results or other concerns with tower/chiller water system. Vendor to alert via phone and email in this situation.
