Specifications include, but are not limited to: The selected training vendor will be expected to deliver consistent instructional material to three separate shifts. Each shift/instructional day will have up to 25 personnel attending. Instruction will be delivered while apparatus are still in service to respond to emergency incidents. There will be accommodations made to place units out of service, when assigned personnel are involved in critical activities during “hands-on” training evolutions. Vendors submitting bids need to consider the following: 1. Delivery of the intended instructional material to three separate shifts. Instructional days can be Monday through Saturday. 2. A sample schedule depicting a three shift delivery model. 3. Pricing shall include one additional instructional day per shift, to account for personnel who miss instructional time due to emergency responses. 4. Equipment to be provided by Burlington Fire Dept. : Life safety Ropes/ hardware, Line supplied air system, Con-Space communication system and Patient packaging/retrieval devices.
