Specifications include, but are not limited to: Transport equipment and materials between Kill Kare, Burton Island, Knight Island, and Woods Island State Park. Bidders mustdemonstratethe ability to efficiently transport, via vessel or other means,up to a 20-ton rolling load.Types of equipmentand materials being transported includebut are not limited to dumpsters, septic trucks, firewood, and small equipment.Burton, Knight, and Woods Islands are remote islands, so contractor must be able to load and unload equipment and materialswithout the use of piers or developed landings.Bidders shall be available for orchestrating the transport of equipment and materials, with 48hours’ notice, for up to 24non-consecutive days per calendar yearand shall provide an hourly rate for these services. Hourly ratemay include transport to and from vessel’s home port, if applicable.
