Specifications include, but are not limited to: The selected Consultants will be asked to perform transportation planning and engineering for various projects throughout the City. These types of projects may include but is not limited to traffic calming, new or improved bicycle and pedestrian facilities, and intersection improvements. These projects may be constructed by a contractor through the public bidding process, or utilizing the resources of the City’s Public Works Department Streets Maintenance Division. The scope may include public involvement; feasibility studies; existing conditions assessments; traffic analysis; mapping; engineered drawings from conceptual through construction documents; construction estimates; traffic control plans; and limited assistance during construction.
