Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Project consists of interior renovations to the first floor of the Nueces Building in order to accommodate educational testing facilities for the Testing Evaluation & Measurement Center (TEMC). The Nueces building is a two-story building with a semi basement level. It was built in 1962 and has experienced several renovations. The project reconfigures the first floor level into computer testing rooms, offices, lounge areas, and ADA compliant public restrooms per the provided floor plan. New electrical and technology infrastructure is required to accommodate the computers and security systems used in the testing rooms. The A-E is to provide code compliance review of the proposed plan and to propose modifications as required. The A-E is to review the current capacity of the existing AHU for the proposed use and to inform the University if the existing units can meet the new use demand. The A-E will also provide structural drawings for the slab infill needed after removal of the stair/dumb waiter located on south-west side of the building
